Unfortunately I found that that this candle was not long lasting, having only lit it 5-6 times leading up to Christmas for no longer then 6 hours and it is nearly half used. I can not see how you would get 50hrs of burn time from these candles. I wanted to support a NZ owned business but unfortunately wouldn't recommend. Also note that after Christmas they have their Christmas range on sale with 30% off .

I wouldn’t recommend this product. While the scent is nice, it doesn’t quite capture a true pine fragrance, though it’s not unpleasant. Unfortunately, the glass cracked during use, causing wax to leak out. I was informed this was due to burning it past 1 cm, but with the wax spilling out, it was impossible to gauge how much remained. I've burned many candles before, and this issue has never occurred—definitely not worth the price.
Each year I buy a special candle for Christmas, my favourite time of year. I haven't tried Surmanti before but it has immediately become my number one! I have the packing slip on my desk as I write this and can even smell the scent from the paper! The packaging is exquisite and shows me how much the product is loved by all those who have a hand in producing it. Almost too beautiful to use! I will definitely be a regular customer. Thank you.
I recommend the Christmas pine scented candle in black. Beautiful.
Will definitely buy again - easy to use (no mess or waste) and smells divine; absorbs well and after several weeks I think my cuticles look and feel healthier.
